Provides safe, subsidized housing and supportive services to homeless mothers ages 18-35 and their children, while giving them the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to reach and maintain self-sufficiency.
Assists low income families with basic needs such as shelter and heat. Through rental assistance, utility intervention, security deposit loans, and the revolving mortgage loan fund, we ensure our families secure permanent housing.
Provides financial assistance with basic necessities such as medication and transportation and referrals to Greater Nashua Dental Connection. The Holiday/Santa Fund Program and Denise Aussant Taylor Food Pantry are also under the umbrella of CARE.
A free, 7-week program that is offered several times per year at the Care Center that is available to anyone living or working in the community. Topics include: Personal budgeting, savings & credit report management, etc.
Since NPCC became incorporated 20 years ago, it has offered an “Adopt-a-Family” Holiday Program for those in need of assistance during the holidays with food, clothing, toys and gifts. In 1996, NPCC became a designated administrator of The Telegraph’s Santa Fund.
